In 1991 the Terry Davis family met the Tony Gray family at a local church in Little Rock where they were both members. Due to a shared entrepreneurial spirit Terry and Tony decided to combine their talents to create their own heating and air conditioning company. With Terry’s heating and air conditioning experience and Tony’s background in business they believed they had what it took to create a successful business.

Terry brought 13 years of experience to the new business. He gained valuable residential and commercial experience by working for various heating and air conditioning companies as well as a local sheet metal union shop. During this time he took night courses at Pulaski Technical College in sheet metal. Tony graduated from Ouachita Baptist University with a B.A. in Business Administration in 1983. After spending four years in the United States Army and then another four years in the Insurance field, Tony was ready to fulfill his strong desire to start his own company. In preparation for his new career, Tony took courses on servicing and trouble shooting heating and air conditioning equipment at Pulaski Technical College. Darlene (Terry’s wife) and Pam (Tony’s wife) helped them come up with their company name of “Chenal Heating and Air, Inc.

Chenal Heating and Air, Inc. was incorporated on March 26, 1992. From the beginning, Terry and Tony believed by being honest, hard working, knowledgeable, providing quality installations and equipment, and doing their best to satisfy their customers, they would be successful. By adopting these characteristics and continually striving to improve them, Chenal Heating and Air, has grown to more than a dozen fulltime employees and is more committed than ever to providing the best for their customers. Terry and Tony continue to be very involved in all aspects of the Company and personally see to it that all jobs are performed to their high standards. They believe they have the tools to do the best job of taking care of your comfort needs and they want you to be their satisfied customer.
